WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

 

I have been blown away and truly excited by your learners!  We are getting to know each other and how the classroom runs.  The best part about last week was when one student raised his hand and when called on said, “I like the way you run the class!”  What a great and thoughtful compliment.  Please ask your students about the economy, their science menus.  You can find 4 videos that help explain homework, missing work, math TIME and science menu on my webpage.

One of our awesome 5th graders Sophia Sartain is doing a service project.  She has made rings, bracelets, canvases and pots and is selling them for a charity.  She forgot to tell me on her way out the door but I hope we can support her.  The cheapest is .50 to 5.00!

 

 

Each Friday we do science experiments and STEM projects. I will be asking for them to bring in items for these a lot.  Please look for supply emails.  

 

We are so excited to announce our Cheer season is here! We are a week and a half away from starting an incredible season full of cheering, stunting, technique and FUN!

Who: Grades 4th-7th grade. All skill levels and experience welcome!

When: Season begins Tuesday August 16th

Practice will be Tuesday and Thursday 4-5pm at the Power Campus. Van transport is available

About 1/2 the class has paid the $30 for the RASK (Roadrunner Academic Success Kit). I plan to use these folders in class and the agendas would be helpful for you and the students to calendar items. So please order yours ASAP if you haven’t already. Let me know if it is a financial concern and I will look into that for you.

Audition sign-ups are now open for Honk! This show is open to 3rd-12th graders and will have two casts. Green Cast will rehearse M/W 3:30-5:30 PM and Gold Cast will rehearse T/TH 3:30-5:30 PM.

Auditions will be held on August 22nd & 23rd at the Power Campus from 3:30-5:30 PM. Please use both links below to sign up!
